We loved our stay at Coral Reef. Great, central location, beautiful, front row views of the sunrise. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. My only complaint would be to stock the soda machine by the lobby. For the price, you can’t beat this place.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Coral Reef. I was a bit anxious when I pulled in, but everything went great. The staff was very friendly and provided everything I needed. I highly recommend an oceanfront room on the top floor. It was clean and a great size with an amazing view. My only complaint was the stopper for the tub didn't work. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and I would recommend it.

The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice location away from the traffic and right on the beach. Booking promised an ocean view but only a couple of rooms on the end of the complex have this. Watch out for the parking Zar.

The room wasn't't very clean, but we'd still stay again considering it was an amazing view and staff! The carpets were pretty bad! Looked and felt terrible and there was a soda can under a chair that was left from the previous tenants. The air conditioner leaked everywhere and soaked our carpet daily up to 4 feet from the wall. Visible mold surrounding the unit as well. The lamp and side table got soaked daily as well so we put towels down and hoped it didn't start a fire because the water running down the wall went straight to an outlet. We only saw one cockroach and got it as it was entering our room via the deck while we had the doors open. Do not understand why there are no screens? There is no breakfast as they continue to advertise that there is. Again it's not a five star, but we did enjoy our stay!

I first stayed here in 2019, and on this visit in 2023 I really missed the included breakfast, where I could meet other guests and fend off begging chickens with squirt guns! The folks running the hotel are the same lovely, helpful folks, and I'm so glad for that. There was a little hiccup at the beginning of my stay with the air conditioner (quickly fixed), and the cabinet holding the mini fridge was literally disintegrating under the fridge, but otherwise I loved having a quiet room right on the water, watching sunrises, being in a central location with tons of food options close by, and having friendly, responsive, helpful staff.

The hotel's location and the ocean views are amazing! However, considering its star rating, don't expect the rooms to be top-notch. They do provide all the essentials, though.

One word. Cockroaches. Beware! I didn’t see the few comments that listed cockroaches and when I arrived I was disgusted and had immediately left. Got a room 10pm at night after traveling all day down the road at the outrigger which is a massive upgrade compared to this dump and they charge the same prices for the rooms! The room was disgusting, not cleaned. Front desk refused a refund. They are well aware of the bugs. I hope for your sake you find my review unlike me not finding the other people’s reviews that found roaches in rooms there. The room didn’t look anything like the pictures. After seeing the pictures and videos Expedia gave me a refund anyways regardless of hotel coral reefs refusal

I've been here a few times now. We will be going back. They are so accommodating and nice to deal with here. Would recommend it if you want a nice, quiet room on the beach. Good location and some rooms are 30 yards from the beach.
